About Me

My name is Leaza and I'm a junior (kind of) Musical Theatre major at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.  (I say kind of because I am a transfer student, thus screwing up my exact class placement).  I love performing and have been doing so since I was seven years old.  However, singing, dancing, and acting are not merely a hobby for me; they are my passion.  I'm working hard everyday to become a stronger performer.  When I graduate from college, I would like to pursue my acting career in Los Angeles (cliche, right?).  My dream is to be a successful film and television actress, who lives on the beach in the gorgeous San Diego.

In addition to performing, I also love to write, write music, listen to music, and create crafts.  I love anything having to do with superheroes; I love watching any superhero movie or reading any superhero comic or encyclopedia; Spider-man is my favorite by far.  (My dream role is to play a superhero in a movie...)  I love to eat vegetables and pasta, drink tea, and do Zumba.  I've also been a vegetarian for about two and a half years; I read the novel Fast Food Nation my freshman year of high school and I was horrified by the mistreatment and torture of animals raised for slaughter.  I also adore summer weather and the beach, because I am a chronically cold person.  At the same time, I love big warm sweaters and comfy boots to keep me cozy during the wintertime.

My sister and I :)
I come from a big loving family, full of diverse ideas, talents, and appearances.  I am very close with my parents and five siblings; without them, I would not be the young woman I am today.  Everyone in my family is so unique and creative in their own right, and I am so lucky to be a part of such an eclectic group.

All of my CUA friends are the most fabulous, weird, and awesome people you could ever meet.  We are extraordinarily close (like sisters) and though we are all such different people, our quirkiness and love of fun keep us the best of friends.
